Land Trail Stewardship Committee

The Land and Trail Stewardship Committee was established in May 2023 by the Board of Selectmen to assist the Conservation Commission with the management of the Town of Northbridge Conservation Lands and other town-owned property that has been placed under the management of the Conservation Commission. Approximately 645 acres of land in town have been designated as open space for conservation and passive recreational use. The Committee maintains existing trails and creates/publishes maps of our Conservation Lands. The Committee also organizes/supervises volunteers to clean up lands and construct new trails. If you want to participate in one of these events, please contact the Conservation Commission. Trail maintenance and improvements to our Conservation Lands are primarily funded through the Conservation Fund. Please call the Conservation Commission office if you are interested in donating to this fund. Links to maps, trail brochures, land use regulations and other information can be found by clicking on the tabs to the left of this page.
